October 24, 1965 — the historic day when the RA272 delivered Honda’s first-ever Formula 1 victory at the Mexican Grand Prix. Celebrate this very special 60th anniversary with an EDIFICE-Honda collaboration that pays tribute to this legendary achievement.
The EDIFICE design team worked closely with Honda, studying every detail of the RA272, the racing legend that sped to victory in the 1965 Mexican Grand Prix, to capture the spirit and engineering of this iconic car.
Painted in authentic Championship White, the bezel takes on the exact color of the RA272, marking the first time the car’s distinctive hue has been applied to a watch exterior. The dial features the number “60” engraved in gold tones at the 60-minute mark to honor the anniversary of this historic victory, and the dial ring in red expresses the Hinomaru design painted on the body of the RA272.
Each design detail tells its own story. The band loop carries the immortal words of team leader Yoshio Nakamura: Veni, Vidi, Vici — “I came, I saw, I conquered.” The long side of the band features RA272 engine specifications and original technical drawings. And the case back proudly displays the official logo commemorating this Honda triumph.
A meaningful celebration, but also constructed with advanced technologies and equipped with smart features for outstanding functionality. The case integrates carbon fiber-reinforced resin with stainless steel for strength and durability. With scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, 100-meter water resistance, and Tough Solar charging, you’re always ready to go. And it’s a snap to sync with your smartphone via Bluetooth® to get automatically adjusted precision timekeeping, effortless world time, and more.
Created for Honda fans across the globe, this special edition watch brings the legacy of Honda F1 and its spirit of innovation right to your wrist.
